Personal training
I can help you to achieve a goal, with one-to-one personal training. You may want to train for a specific sporting challenge, or perhaps your goal is to say goodbye to some unwanted weight. Maybe you need to rebuild your strength following surgery or an illness. Whatever your target, a tailored exercise programme and a motivational personal trainer can get you to your goal safely and effectively.
Everyone starts with a consultation to understand your individual needs followed by your first session, then I can begin to map out a pathway to get you on the road to reach your goals. Should you wish, I can advise on your nutrition, and how to combine what you eat for a healthy lifestyle, supporting your fitness journey. You can train in my workout room, or in the comfort of your own home.
Personal Training sessions are very popular and we are almost always running at full capacity, however we will always endeavour to fit you in, if you are able to be a little flexible in your training times!
Exercise Referral
Have you been very ill, had surgery, or been diagnosed with a life changing medical condition? After your GP has cleared you, I am able to work with you to help you recover your fitness. Getting back to full fitness or learning how to live with a major change in your life can be a struggle and conventional Personal Training sessions may not be suitable for you, but using the knowledge and skills gained in Exercise Referral, I am confident I can make your workout more effective and help you gain back strength and mobility to get your life back on track!

“Irene’s tuition skills are extremely comprehensive, logical and always positive. She always takes into account the limitations that apply to people of a certain age, and that means people like me. I try to push myself a little harder at each session and Irene always encourages and motivates me to go that little bit further whilst ensuring that it is within my physical ability. I felt at the end of the session that I had achieved what I had hoped to.”
